Keep your Discord community informed

Prepare release notes, event reminders, and community announcements without leaving them until the last minute. Postede sends reviewed posts to the Discord server channels you connect.

Write for people already in the room

Community members usually need a useful update more than a sales pitch. Explain what is new, who it affects, and where to read more. Name the next step clearly so people can act without searching through earlier messages.

How it works

  1. Authorize a Discord connection for the server channel where you want announcements to appear.
  2. Write or generate the update, adding a relevant image or link when useful.
  3. Select the intended connected channel and save a publishing time, then check the destination in your schedule.

A starting point

A community announcing an upcoming session. This is an illustrative example to adapt to your own work.

This week’s planning session is ready. Bring one draft you want feedback on and the question you’re trying to answer. The agenda and joining details are in the event post.

Before you publish

A channel connection

Discord publishing uses an authorized webhook for a server channel. It is for announcements to connected destinations, rather than personal direct messages or a general-purpose moderation bot.

Destination review

When several server channels are connected, check the server and channel name before saving. Keep the announcement relevant to that community and review any mentions in your text.

Bring your next post

Start with your own content, review it in your workspace, and choose the connected destination when you are ready.
