Posts that sound more like you

Voice now learns from example posts. Choose a profile for each social platform, or bring your own X account.

Start with real examples

I want a draft to feel like something I would actually post. The words matter. So do the length, the line breaks, and knowing when to stop.

We’ve rebuilt Voice around example posts. Instead of turning a website into a description of your writing style, Postede uses a collection of posts to guide how it writes. Your Product sources still supply the facts about your business.

Keep a question a question

We also tested how we generate the draft. Rewriting every post sometimes made it more polished, but less like the selected voice. In this example, it even turned a question into advice.

The new approach writes directly from the examples, without automatically rewriting every result. Here’s the same request with a Naval-inspired X profile.

Before and after generated X drafts using the same Naval-inspired profile. The earlier rewrite gives two paragraphs of debugging advice. The example-first draft asks: When a webhook handler fails, what do you check first: the request that arrived or the code that handled it?
Recorded test drafts: the earlier automatic rewrite and the example-first writer. These are generated examples, not posts by Naval.

The shape matters, too

This comparison uses a Dickie Bush-inspired profile and the same debugging topic. The new draft develops the observation through a short setup, a pause, and a question. That rhythm is part of a voice, too.

Before and after generated X drafts using the same Dickie Bush-inspired profile. Before: Webhook debugging gets easier when you inspect the payload that actually arrived instead of guessing what the sender sent. That small difference can be the entire bug. After: A lot of webhook debugging starts with what did they send? Being able to inspect the body that actually arrived turns that into a much better question: What does my code do with this?
A second recorded comparison. Same request and profile, with the generated wording and paragraph breaks preserved.

Choose your voice in Brand

Open Brand → Voice to see your voices together. Choose one profile per platform, browse its example posts, and change it whenever you want. Each platform has three included profiles, with 20 examples per profile.

On X, you can also search for your own account or another public account and use its posts as examples. Custom account search for the other platforms is coming soon.

You’ll have an included voice to start with, so you can keep creating posts right away. I’d love to hear how the drafts sound to you.
